The farm of Heyvis Sagastume is one of seven that contribute to our Familia Sagastume blend, and is one of eighty-three farms that are part of the Cielito Lindo cooperative. The Sagastumes take meticulous care in their coffee processing and preparation making their coffee production a true familia endeavor. This offering from the La Aguja farm is a fully washed single variety microlot. The variety, parainema, is selectively bred by the Instituto Hondureño del Café to withstand coffee leaf rust and other negative impacts of climate change, while not sacrificing quality or yield.
