Santa Bárbara, Honduras is home to the lake town of Peña Blanca and the renowned coffee growing microregion of El Cielito. The mountainous region surrounding Lake Yojoa experiences hot humid days and cool nights which contribute to the creation of a particularly dense, sweet coffee which is mostly grown on small family farms. Under these conditions the traditionally grown Pacas variety yield unique flavor characteristics that make it a sought after delight worldwide.
Honduras Santa Bárbara Highlands is a regionally specific coffee from an area of Western Honduras known for its incredible biodiversity, particularly it’s bird population which can bloom to over 400 unique species throughout the year.
