The northern region of Ngozi province has been one of the major successes of the Burundian specialty coffee industry over the last decade. In spite of, or perhaps because of, their remoteness from any major city, the coffee growers in Ngozi are known for their innovation, tenacity and spirit. Coffee cherries cultivated on small family farms are sold to washing stations where they are processed and graded with meticulous care.
Burundi Ngozi Highlands is a regionally specific coffee from washing stations that prioritize farmer well-being and invest in the long-term success of their communities.
