Honduras La Aguja Geisha

La Aguja is the name of the farm of Heyvis Sagastume, the oldest son of his renowned family of organic coffee producers in the northeastern foothills of the Santa Bárbara mountain. The prized heirloom Geisha varietal is a coffee renowned for its delicate floral notes, clean profile, and unmatched sweetness. These inherent qualities together with Heyvis’ meticulous preparation and our careful roasting showcase what is truly special about specialty coffee: an exquisite cup of coffee born of persistent dedication and craftsmanship.

Gimme! Coffee started in the Northeast neighborhood of Ithaca, a classic Italian-style roaster who lived the values of a nascent third wave specialty coffee movement. We gained notoriety for our Williamsburg and Nolita cafes, and won national awards when we transitioned our roasting to profile expression and our sourcing to direct long-term relationships. Today we are the largest worker-owned cooperative union in the coffee industry and are leading the charge for living wage and employee rights while remaining true to our passion for high-quality, Fairtrade and organic craft coffee.
