We're seeking a stellar Store Manager to lead our Cayuga St. Cafe! You are someone who loves coffee and loves learning. You are ready to take on challenges with a positive attitude. You take pleasure in making positive connections with staff, customers, and team-mates. You are a leader, and you love coaching your team to achieve successes they didn't know were possible. You're a quick study and a creative problem-solver. You are responsible, organized, and willing to take responsibility for results. You can juggle multiple priorities and optimize your espresso bar's operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, coffee quality, financial performance, and team development.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to manage store operations independently
Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Ability to act with a "customer comes first" attitude and consistently deliver and model service that meets or exceeds customer expectations
Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely, speaking and writing
Ability to lead, motivate, direct, and evaluate multiple employees
Demonstrated leadership abilities and team-building skills
Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Strong knowledge of the specialty coffee industry
Strong barista experience in a specialty coffee environment
3 years progressively responsible retail, hospitality or restaurant industry experience, including two years of supervisory experience
