We've been collaborating with Julia Dean, a local Ithaca ceramic artist, for over a year to develop custom ceramics for Gimme. We're excited to introduce the first result: this lovely cone dripper for making pour-over coffee. We love its thoughtful details, like the subtle spiral around the inside that keeps the filter from sticking and improves brew performance. Each piece is hand thrown on the potter's wheel using durable porcelain clay. After a first kiln-firing at 1800 degrees, it is glazed and fired again at 2200 degrees to create a glass-like, food-safe surface. Each cone dripper is made by hand and no two will ever be exactly the same. Happy pouring!
