Sustainability
Along with Te Van a Conocer Compa, the Capucas Cooperative is dedicated to using USDA-certified organic agricultural methods along with fair trade practices. In recent years, they have have built drying facilities to help members process their coffee, along with biodigesters - these create fertilizer out of the wet mill waste from the washed processing. The Cooperative also has a nursery of high-quality, rust-resistant varieties that they distribute to members to promote farm renovation.
