The northern region of Kayanza province has been one of the major successes of the Burundian specialty coffee industry over the last decade. In spite of, or perhaps because of, their remoteness from any major city, coffee growers in Kayanza are known for innovation, tenacity, and spirit. Coffee cherries cultivated on small family farms are sold to privatized washing stations where they are processed and graded with meticulous care.

Burundi Kayanza is a regionally specific coffee from washing stations that prioritize farmer well-being and invest in the long-term success of their communities.
