This coffee comes from Celso Mayta and his farm Finca Golondrina in Copacabana, Bolivia. Named after the swallows that inhabit the farm, Finca Golondrina has tripled in size since 2004 when Celso almost gave up coffee farming. Luckily, Celso's perseverance and dedication to quality coffee paid off with a 2nd Place finish in Bolivia's 2005 Cup of Excellence. He has continued to push his farm and coffee quality in recent years, investing in a better nursery and washing station for his farm, yielding a wonderful example of Bolivian coffee with intriguing florals, stonefruit and sweet chocolate.
