The Specialty Coffee Association of America presents the 2008 Northeast Regional Barista Competition (NERBC), hosted by Gimme! Coffee. This year is the second annual and we're bringing it home to Ithaca, in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine district. We're hosting the show in the vaudeville-era State Theatre.

Calling All Baristas
Compete in the 2008 Northeast Regional Barista Competition and you could win an all-expenses paid trip to the National Barista Championship in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Competitors prepare 4 espressos, 4 cappuccinos, and 4 specialty drinks in 15 minutes
- Judges evaluate taste, presentation, espresso technique, and coffee knowledge to pick a winner
- The NERBC is open to all baristas from NY, CT, RI, MA, ME, VT, or NH
- Spaces are limited! Competitors are admitted on a first come, first serve basis

How to Get Involved
So you're not ready to compete this year? You can still get involved and get a headstart on next year's competition. Participate by:
- Training as a competition judge
- Volunteering to help run the competition
- Or, just come to enjoy the free show
